DIU drones strike at military facilities in three regions of Russia

Last night, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine carried out a series of attacks on Russian military facilities in three regions using kamikaze drones. This was reported by NV.ua, citing its own intelligence sources, reports "Komersant Ukrainian"

The attack took place on the night of 17 June in Belgorod, Voronezh and Lipetsk regions. Information about the explosions was confirmed by Russian Telegram channels and local officials. In particular, the governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, said that Russian air defence forces had allegedly shot down four drones over the industrial zone of Lipetsk.

According to the source, the drones struck the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant and a local tractor plant in the Lipetsk region. These enterprises are used by the Russians for military purposes.

The attack on the tractor plant and the metallurgical plant was also reported by the Astra Telegram channel. And the governor of Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, claimed that their air defence system had detected and destroyed two drones in the region.
