State Emergency Service completes search and rescue operations at the site of Russian attack on a high-rise building in Kyiv

On the morning of Friday, April 25, the State Emergency Service completed search and rescue operations at the site of a Russian attack on a residential building in Kyiv. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the SES.

According to the SES, 12 people were killed and 87 injured as a result of the attack by the terrorist country.

At night, rescuers rescued two seals at the site of a Russian strike on a residential building.

“We found them at the scene of total destruction. The frightened but unharmed animals were handed over to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society,” the statement said.

Emergency and restoration works are ongoing.

“The damaged building structures are being dismantled. 73 rescuers and 25 units of SES equipment are working,” the press service emphasized.

Among those killed in the strike are brother and sister Nikita, 21, and Sofia, 19. According to the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the victims of Russian terror were the son and daughter of Yaroslav Kozlov, a neurologist at the University Clinic of the National University of Kyiv.

Today, April 25, Kyiv has declared a Day of Mourning in memory of the victims of the massive missile attack that Russia launched on the capital.
