“Dynamo Kyiv loses to Hoffenheim in the UEFA Europa League

Dynamo Kyiv has played its second match in this year’s Europa League. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Dynamo Kyiv.

The match between Hoffenheim and Dynamo ended with a score of 2-0. Czech Adam Hlodek scored a goal in each of the halves.
Thus, Dynamo suffered its second consecutive defeat in the Europa League.
In the first round of the Europa League, Dynamo lost to Italian side Lazio 0-3. At the same time, German side Hoffenheim drew with Danish side FC Midtjylland in the first round.
In the following matches, Dynamo will also face Roma, Ferencvaros, Real Sociedad, Galatasaray, Viktoria Plzen and RFC.
This season’s Europa League, like the Champions League, will be played in a new format. The main round, which will last from September to January, will involve 36 teams. Each team will play 8 matches.
The top eight teams will advance to the 1/8 finals of the UEFA Europa League, and the clubs that will take places from 9th to 24th will play in head-to-head matches. For everyone else, the European Cup season will end.
