Ukrainian Mi-24 crew killed during a combat mission

The crew of a Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopter was killed during a combat mission on December 17. This was reported by the press service of the 12th separate brigade of army aviation named after Viktor Pavlenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Today, a black cloud hangs over our aviation family. This is an irreparable loss for aviation, for the country, for the families who were waiting for their loved ones at home… Eternal memory to the crew. Honor. Pain. Gratitude,” the statement reads.
The crew also appealed to all concerned to join the collection to support the families of the four crew members.
All the funds raised will be transferred to the families after the fundraiser is over.
The Mi-24 is an attack and transport helicopter that is widely used in Ukraine. It was mostly modernized by domestic enterprises to the Mi-24P and Mi-24PU1 versions, replacing engines with modern Ukrainian ones and improving weapons systems.
