Former Kolos football club player Danilo Kolesnik, who assaulted a TCC employee, has been charged. The court has also imposed a preventive measure on him.

According to the police, the court imposed a preventive measure in the form of night-time house arrest for Kolesnik.

The Kolesnik case

The incident occurred recently in the village of Svyatopetrivske in the Bucha district. According to the investigation, 24-year-old Danilo Kolesnik punched a TCC and SP serviceman who was checking military registration documents during a conflict. The serviceman suffered bodily harm.

After the incident became public, the Kolos football club apologized to the military, suspended the player from training, and began the process of terminating his employment.

On February 18, police detained Danylo Kolesnyk in the Kyiv region.

The former footballer himself claims that he allegedly stood up for a father of many children who, according to him, was subjected to unlawful actions.

The police have not yet confirmed this version of events. After his arrest, he also posted a video of the conflict and his position on social media.

The former Kolos footballer also claims that he did not hide or evade responsibility.
