Former Energy Minister Galushchenko detained while attempting to leave Ukraine – media

On the night of February 15, while attempting to cross the border, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) detained former Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.
This was reported to UP by a source in political circles, according to Komersant.
It is specified that he was removed from the train.
A source from Ukrayinska Pravda adds that border guards had a request from NABU and SAP regarding Halushchenko – to obtain information in case he attempted to cross the border.
This practice is used if a person is involved in criminal cases.
