– the statement said.
The ex-MP’s name has not been disclosed, but the circumstances of the case suggest that it is Svyatash. He can also be recognised in a blurry photo released by the prosecutor’s office.

According to the prosecutor’s office, in 2022, the former MP posted on his Facebook page narratives about the absence of armed aggression against Ukraine, the legality of the occupation of the territory, and calls for residents of the temporarily occupied territories to cooperate with the enemy.
In addition, during 2008-2014, the former MP, as a beneficiary of a group of enterprises, organised the non-repayment of more than $50 million of a previously received loan. As a security for the loan repayment, the defendant pledged about 200 real estate objects and corporate rights to the bank.
After the loan was due, he used deliberately forged documents and re-registered the property to other business entities under his control, thus releasing the property from encumbrances. As a result of these actions, the company that bought out the bank’s debts suffered losses of UAH 2.2 billion.
In August last year, the Prosecutor General’s Office filed an indictment against Svyatash with the court. His assets worth more than UAH 600 million were seized and transferred to the management of the ARMA.
In 2019, due to being put on the wanted list, the defendant went into hiding in Russia.
