The expert told what polygraphs Ukrainian law enforcement officers use in their work

Ukrainian law enforcement agencies use RUBICON polygraphs in their work. Volodymyr Vedmid, chairman of the National Association of Polygraph Examiners of Ukraine, said this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian".

“If we look at the Prozorro procurement, the BES, the State Bureau of Investigation, the Security Service, the Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, the Armed Forces of Ukraine – all buy Ukrainian RUBICONpolygraphs,” he said.

According to the expert, the Ukrainian polygraph costs from 3.5 to 4 thousand euros, while its American counterparts cost from 9 to 12 thousand dollars.

Mr. Medved also said that the Ukrainian polygraph was developed in 2015.

“The first official training courses for polygraph examiners were organized by Oleksiy Dubrovsky, the developer of the RUBICON polygraph, and me in 2016 at the Mechnikov National University in Odesa.

The training lasts several months and costs about 2,000 USD, with a 20% discount for military and law enforcement officers,” he said.
