Egg exports from Ukraine exceeded $119 million in 8 months

In January-August 2025, Ukrainian producers exported almost 1.4 billion chicken eggs worth $119.5 million.
According to "Komersant Ukrainian", this was reported by the Union of Poultry Breeders of Ukraine association, citing data from the State Customs Service.
“In 8 months, Ukraine exported almost 1.4 billion eggs. <…> In monetary terms, revenue for 8 months of this year amounted to $119.5 million, which is 2.6 times more than in the same period last year,” the report says.
In particular, in August 2025, 168.2 million eggs worth $16.4 million were supplied from Ukraine. Experts noted that exports increased by 81.9% compared to August last year.
The main buyers of Ukrainian eggs in January-August were Croatia (10.9%), the United Kingdom (10.6%) and Spain (11%).
The largest volumes of supplies in August were made to Spain – 37.1 million eggs, the Czech Republic – 28.9 million and Poland – 21.7 million eggs.
As reported, in 2024, the industrial poultry sector of Ukraine showed a gradual recovery: meat production increased by 6.1% and egg production by 4.8% compared to the previous year.
