Ukraine has elected Anka Feldhusen, who served as the German ambassador to Ukraine from July 2019 to July 2023, as its new business ombudsman.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Economy, which notes that a corresponding draft order of the Cabinet of Ministers has already been prepared to approve Feldhusen in this position by the decision of the Supervisory Board of the Business Ombudsman Council of November 25 this year, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“The Business Ombudsman Council is an institution that helps entrepreneurs to protect their legitimate rights and interests in cooperation with public authorities out of court. The continuity of its work is critical for business confidence in government institutions, reducing administrative barriers and improving the quality of public services for entrepreneurs,” the statement said.
Feldhusen, after leaving her post as Ambassador to Ukraine, became the plenipotentiary for stabilization and prevention of civil crises at the German Foreign Office.
