13 July 11:17
Iranian President Massoud Peseshkian was injured in the leg during a recent Israeli strike on the venue of the meeting of the Supreme National Security Council. The incident occurred after the bombing, when the Iranian leader evacuated the building through an emergency exit.
Rokna writes about this with reference to the Iranian Fars news agency, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Israel carried out a targeted attack on the morning of Monday, June 16. The missiles hit a building in the west of Tehran, where a meeting of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council was taking place on the underground floors, attended by almost all the top officials – the heads of the three branches of government and other high-ranking officials.
Israel, according to Iranian media, fired six missiles or bombs that destroyed the entrances and exits of the building to prevent the evacuation of people from inside and cut off air access. The attack was planned similarly to the operation to eliminate the leader of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hassan Nasrallah.
As a result of the damage, the building lost power. However, the officials present were able to leave the building through an emergency hatch. According to the report, some people, including Masoud Pezeshkian, suffered minor leg injuries during the evacuation.
It is worth noting that during the latest conflict between the Islamic Republic and Israel, several high-ranking military commanders and experts on Iran’s nuclear program were killed.
