Fedorov tells when “Schoolchildren’s Package” will be launched in Ukraine

In the coming days, Ukraine may launch a new state program called the Schoolchildren’s Package, which provides for the payment of UAH 5,000 to parents of children entering first grade this year. This was announced by First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during a live broadcast on TikTok, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“In the coming days, in a week at the most, we will launch the Schoolchildren’s Package,” he said.
He clarified that the program provides parents of first-graders with the opportunity to receive 5,000 hryvnias to their Diia.Card.
Parents will be able to use these funds to prepare for September 1.
The money will be transferred to the Diia.Card, and it can be used to prepare the child for school – to buy school uniforms, shoes, backpacks, stationery and other necessary things.
How to receive the payment
The application can be submitted
- online – through the Diia app or portal;
- offline – at any service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Applications will be accepted until November 15, 2025.
To apply for assistance, you must provide:
- Full name of the recipient and the child;
- registration number of the taxpayer’s account card;
- date of birth of the child;
- series and number of the birth certificate;
- special bank account number.
The funds received must be spent within 180 days from the date of enrollment.
