Andrii Matiukha Foundation Donates Advanced Equipment to Okhmatdyt

Thanks to the Andrii Matiukha Foundation and the Good Donations organization, the National Children’s Hospital Okhmatdyt has received two new surgical instruments — the Ligasure Mariland and the Ligasure Exact. These are modern systems that enable minimally invasive surgeries.

According to Roman Zhezhera, Head of the Emergency Surgery Department, the new tools significantly reduce the duration of surgical procedures — a critical factor, especially for young children. Okhmatdyt performs up to 800 surgeries annually. With the foundation’s support, many of these procedures will now become much easier to carry out.

The Andrii Matiukha Foundation Provides Ongoing Support

This is not the first equipment delivery from the Andrii Matiukha Foundation to Okhmatdyt. Back in February, doctors received a Thompson surgical system, which is already in use in operating rooms and has contributed to saving over a hundred lives.

“We’ve partnered with Okhmatdyt before and understand how much they do for children. That’s why, together with Good Donations, we try to respond to doctors’ requests as quickly as possible,” said Andrii Matiukha, founder of the Andrii Matiukha Foundation.

The foundation continues to work closely with medical professionals, listens to their needs, and supplies what truly makes a difference.
