The State Property Fund sells the machine-building plant “Orison”

The State Property Fund of Ukraine has announced an auction for the sale of the unified property complex of the State Enterprise Machine-Building Plant Orison in Smila; the starting price of the object is UAH 1.67 million. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the SPFU.
“On November 25, an online auction is scheduled to be held for the privatization of the unified property complex of the state-owned enterprise Machine-Building Plant Orison. Registration for participation in the auction will last until November 24 at 20:00,” the statement said.
The company is located in the city of Smila, Cherkasy region. The total real estate area is 45.5 thousand square meters.
The real estate consists of 10 buildings, mostly premises of buildings.
The company has no registered rights to land plots within Smila and the former Smila district.
In addition, the state-owned property that is not subject to privatization is registered with the state enterprise, namely two storage facilities with a total area of 788.6 square meters and 844.6 square meters.
Movable property and vehicles are also absent.
What is known about the Orion plant
“Orizon is currently inactive. The main activity, according to the charter, is the production of tools and equipment for measurement, research and navigation.
Therefore, the plant can be used by the new owner to relocate the business or re-profile it (brown fields).
According to the terms of the sale, the buyer of SE Machine-Building Plant Orison is obliged to ensure that the company’s debts are repaid within six months from the date of transfer of ownership and to prevent dismissal of employees at the initiative of the buyer or its authorized body.
