Reporting for individual entrepreneurs has been simplified: how to submit a declaration in 5 minutes in Diia
4 July 22:10
The mobile application for administrative services “Diia” has launched a declaration for private entrepreneurs of the 3rd group. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
Starting July 1, 2025, individual entrepreneurs can start submitting quarterly declarations through the application. However, this applies only to individual entrepreneurs with a 5% tax rate who are not VAT payers and do not hire employees.
The administrative services mobile application is a convenient digital tool for small businesses that significantly reduces the administrative burden.
The declaration must be submitted for the second quarter of 2025 by August 11, which is 40 calendar days after the end of the quarter. If the entrepreneur did not receive income in this period, the declaration is not submitted.
What taxes are taken into account:
- Single tax – 5% of income,
- Military tax – 1% (you can manually set it to 0 if you have a tax exemption),
- Unified social contribution – 22% of the minimum wage (as of 2025 – 8,000 ₴).
After entering income in Diia, the system automatically calculates most indicators and reports the amounts to be paid.
How to file a declaration
In the Diia app or portal. To do this, follow these steps:
- log in with your BankID or electronic signature;
- select “Taxes” → “Declarations” → declaration for the second quarter.
- indicate income and check the calculation;
- sign with an electronic signature and submit.
The Diia system will automatically pull up the data from previous declarations, which simplifies the process.
It is worth noting that the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation , Mykhailo Fedorov, promises to further improve the functionality to make tax reporting even easier.
