Fozzy deepens its presence in the media: another publication joins the holding

In October 2025, the lifestyle publication The Village Ukraine became part of Fozzy Media Group, the media division of one of the largest Ukrainian retailers. This was reported by the press service of Fozzy Group, Interfax-Ukraine reports , "Komersant Ukrainian".
The largest player in the segment
The company said that after the integration, Fozzy Media Group covers 41% of Ukraine’s lifestyle audience, combining the audiences of the magazine and The Village Ukraine. This strengthens the holding’s position as the largest player in this media segment.
The Village Ukraine, which operates in the format of a city guide and focuses on cultural, social life and service topics in Kyiv, should strengthen the lifestyle direction in the Fozzy media ecosystem.
Editorial independence and media strategy
The company emphasizes that the editorial staff will retain full independence, and Fozzy will not interfere with the content and policy of the editorial office.
Fozzy Media Group CEO Olena Shabashkevich says that the merger opens up wider opportunities for advertisers – access to new audiences, a greater variety of formats, and content that builds “trust and loyalty of readers.”
According to her, the development of its own media also allows the holding to better understand the needs of its audience and track changes in the interests of potential customers.
Dmytro Panasyuk, Head of Advertising Technology at Fozzy Group, emphasizes that the advantage of retail media is access to data on consumer behavior. This allows you to introduce the brand to the customer before they go to the store or search online.

Fozzy Media Group already operates a power supply, a gastronomic portal Shuba.life, and a number of specialized communities.
Fozzy Group owns a wide portfolio of retail and service assets – from Silpo supermarkets , Thrash! discounters, Fora and Fozzy Cash&Carry chains to pharmacies, restaurants, agro and logistics companies, IT businesses and Vostok Bank.
Fozzy Media Group LLC was registered in 2016. Its authorized capital is over UAH 86 million. The ultimate beneficiary is Volodymyr Kostelman, co-owner of Fozzy Group.
In the first nine months of 2025, the company’s revenue decreased by 28% to UAH 45.6 million, while its net loss decreased by 3.5 times to UAH 8.1 million.
