General Staff names two hottest areas on the frontline

The number of combat engagements along the entire frontline increased to 104 over the last day. The situation is the hottest in the Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors, which account for almost half of all enemy attacks. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
In theKharkiv sector, Russian troops tried to attack three times. Fighting continues in the area of Vovchansk.
In theKupyansk sector, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 10 assaults by occupation forces since the beginning of the day. The battle near Syinkivka continues. The outskirts of Petropavlivka came under an air strike.
In theKramatorsk sector, the enemy increased pressure in the area of Chasovyi Yar. Two battles are taking place. In total, the enemy attacked here five times today.
In theToretsk sector, the number of militants’ attacks increased to 25. Ukrainian defence forces repelled 22 offensive attempts by Russian troops, three attacks are still ongoing. The enemy used aviation and bombed Toretsk with unmanned aerial vehicles.
In thePokrovsk sector, the occupants do not reduce the pressure. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders 23 times. Seven assault operations are underway.
One more enemy attempted to attack in the Prydniprovskyi sector. In total, this is the seventh attack of the day, six of which were repelled. The situation in other sectors did not change significantly.
