The General Staff reported a difficult situation at the front: 266 clashes in 24 hours

The situation at the front remains difficult. Over the past day, 266 combat engagements were recorded. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a morning report, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“The situation at the front remains difficult. The enemy, using its superiority in manpower and equipment, is continuously attacking our positions. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly restraining the onslaught of the occupiers and inflicting significant losses on the enemy,” the statement said.
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using one missile, as well as 17 air strikes, including 34 drones. In addition, it carried out 4385 attacks, including 140 from multiple launch rocket systems and engaged about 1,500 kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Zelene Pole, Temyrivka, Pokrovsk, Zhovte, Kostiantynopil, Troitske, Horikhove, Udachne, Shcherbaki and Novooleksandrivka.
Situation at the frontline
Inthe Kharkiv sector, the enemy attacked five times near Vovchansk and Vysoka Yaruga.
Inthe Kupyansk sector, 23 militants’ attacks took place over the last day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove and Lozova.
The enemy attacked inthe Liman sector 31 times. He tried to break into our defense near Druzhelyubivka, Zelenyi Hai, Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Terny, Torske and in the direction of Hryhorivka.
Inthe Siverskyi sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack by Russian invaders near Bilohorivka.
Inthe Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked 14 times in the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Predtechyno.
Inthe Toretsk sector, the aggressor made 16 attempts to advance on the positions of Ukrainian troops near Toretsk, Druzhba and Dachne.
Inthe Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 60 aggressor’s assault and offensive actions in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promenu, Lysivka, Novyi Trud, Dachanske, Shevchenko, Vovkove and Novovasylivka.
Inthe Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces repelled 36 attacks. The occupants were most actively trying to advance near Petropavlivka, Shevchenko and in the vicinity of Kurakhove.
In theVremivsk sector, the enemy made 34 attacks on our positions in the areas of Uspenivka, Yantarne, Kostiantynopol, Kostiantynopol, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, Novyi Komar, Novosilka, Velyka Novosilka and Storozheve.
The invaders made four unsuccessful attempts to dislodge the Ukrainian Defense Forces from their positions in the Prydniprovsky sector.
The operation in the Kursk region continues, where 37 combat engagements between Ukrainian defenders and the invaders took place over the past day.
Inthe Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.
Enemy losses
Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit one UAV control center, an ammunition depot, five areas of personnel concentration, an electronic warfare facility and two enemy artillery systems.
In total, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,600 people over the last day. Ukrainian troops also neutralized four tanks, eight armored combat vehicles, 10 artillery systems, 74 tactical UAVs and 31 vehicles.
