Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff: active fighting in two sectors

There were 141 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. The most active hostilities took place in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the updated information, over the past day, the enemy launched two missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using three missiles, 80 air strikes, involving 111 aircraft. In addition, it carried out more than 4,000 attacks, including 110 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Liptsi, Vovchansky Khutory, Bilyi Kolodyaz and Vovchansk in Kharkiv region; Lysychne, Novoselivka Persha, Toretsk, New York, Tymofiivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Progress, Ivanivka, Vovche and Hrodivka in Donetsk region.
Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Multi-storey and private residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, etc. were destroyed and damaged.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces conducted 11 air strikes on enemy manpower, destroyed one control point, one air defence facility, three areas of concentration of occupants’ personnel and weapons, one R-441 Livn communication station and one Protyvnik-GE radar station.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1200 casualties over the last day. Ukrainian troops also neutralised 16 tanks, 40 armoured combat vehicles, 29 artillery systems, one air defence system, one Su-25 aircraft, one cruise missile, 31 operational and tactical UAVs, 47 vehicles and eight pieces of special equipment.
In theKharkiv sector, the enemy continued offensive actions. Five combat engagements took place in the vicinity of Liptsy, Staritsa, Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
In theKupyansk sector, the number of attacks totalled 13 over the day. Defence forces repelled all enemy assaults near Sinkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane and Stelmakhivka.
In theLiman sector, our troops repelled 16 occupants’ attacks in the vicinity of Nevske, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Terny and Serebryanske forestry.
In theSiverskyi sector, the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled three assault attacks near Verkhnekamianske.
In theKramatorsk sector, our troops stopped five enemy attempts to break through the defences in the areas of Kalynivka, Hryhorivka and Chasovyi Yar.
In theToretsk sector, the enemy launched nine unsuccessful attacks near the towns of Pivnichne and Toretsk.
In thePokrovsk sector, our defenders repelled 52 assaults in the areas of New York, Progress, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Lozuvatske, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka, where the invaders, supported by aviation, tried to force our units out of their positions.
In theKurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka and Kostiantynivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defences of our troops 19 times.
In theVremivsk sector, the enemy made 10 attacks on our positions near Vodiane, Kostiantynivka and Makarivka.
In theOrikhivsk sector, five combat engagements took place in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne.
In thePrydniprovskyi sector, the occupants continue to try to drive the Ukrainian Armed Forces units from their positions at the footholds. Four Russian attacks were unsuccessful.
The operational situation in theVolyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. There are no signs of enemy offensive groups forming.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, shelling settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.
