Hetmantsev warned the “devils” against rejoicing over the change of tax authorities

Danylo Hetmantsev, chairman of the Tax Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, has reacted to the change in the leadership of the tax service. The deputy wrote a post on Telegram, from which it became obvious that he was not very satisfied with the new head of the service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
In his post, the initiator of the latest tax changes in the country voiced a number of comments to the previous tax team.
“I would like to thank the team of the State Tax Service, which has worked for three full years in the most difficult period in the history of the state. You are unrealistically cool! And you have managed to do more than in the previous 30 years,”
– the MP wrote.
It is worth noting that not everyone shares Hetmantsev’s assessment. For example, business is getting worse and worse about the taxation system in Ukraine.
Hetmantsev also thanked business, but not all of it, only the “white” business.
“I thank the white business for their support, constant dialog, assistance and openness to changes that we have been doing and will continue to do together,”
– the MP added.
Hetmantsev was the initiator of the “white business club”, which allegedly included companies that have an impeccable tax reputation according to the tax service. However, only 0.26% of all businesses in the country were members of this club. It seems that Hetmantsev was targeting them.
Hetmantsev did not write anything good about the new head of the tax service. On the contrary, his post suggests that now all sorts of “devils” will try to “recover” again, and the tax service will try to roll back to the old days. But Hetmantsev will resist them.
“And I would not advise the converters, evaders, smugglers and other devils whose schemes we, together with the State Tax Service team, have destroyed over these 3 years. We know you by name. It will be difficult to recover, even with all the desire. I am convinced that the point of no return in the fight against the shadow economy has been passed by our joint efforts, it will be difficult to roll back the tax system to the old days, no matter how much one would like to…”

The new head of the tax service is
Ruslan Kravchenko is the new head of the tax service
At a meeting on December 31, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Ruslan Kravchenko, former head of the Kyiv Regional Tax Administration, as the new head of the Tax Service of Ukraine.
In his previous career, Kravchenko worked in the military prosecutor’s office, where his immediate supervisor was Anatoliy Matios. He was the head of the Bucha District Prosecutor’s Office, where he worked since March 2021. He tried to become the director of the NABU, but did not pass the competitive selection.
In April 2023, Ruslan Kravchenko became the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, from which he was dismissed on the eve of yesterday’s appointment.
He was awarded the Order of Merit, third class, in August 2022 for his outstanding contribution to the development of the state and protection of its territorial integrity, as well as for his conscientious work.
