A scandal is brewing in the Verkhovna Rada, as a group of MPs have initiated the suspension of MP Mariana Bezuhla from parliamentary sessions.

Oleksandra Ustinova, a member of the Voice faction, wrote about this on social media, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“We sent a resolution to each deputy to sign to remove Bezuhlaya from the meetings for insulting our deceased colleague and the brightest person Yaroslav Rushchyshyn. She has crossed all boundaries in her publications and considers herself untouchable.

I hope for the support of my colleagues, especially from the mono-majority, in stopping this madness.

As a reminder, MP Mariana Bezuhla caused a wave of criticism after publishing a post on social media about the deceased MP from the Voice party Yaroslav Rushchyshyn. She stated that Rushchyshyn “died not in battle, but while riding a motorcycle” and hinted that it allegedly happened during the curfew.

She also posted a photo of the deceased with a caption: “The deceased MP and his ‘horse'”. In her post, Bezuhla expressed condolences, but immediately noted: “No more than our defenders at the front,” and added that such tragedies should remind Ukrainians “not to take unnecessary risks.”
