Oleksiy Kucher is stepping down as chairman of the supervisory board of the state-owned enterprise “Forests of Ukraine.”
This was announced by Yuriy Bolokhovets, CEO of the state-owned enterprise “Forests of Ukraine,” according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Oleksiy had a very difficult mission. The supervisory board, as an independent management body of our enterprise, was formed for the first time. The new team had to launch a number of important processes from scratch, in particular those related to corporatization,” he said.
According to him, the supervisory board includes truly strong independent members, and the coordinated and effective work of the board is thanks to Oleksiy Kucher.
Bolochovets emphasized that over the course of a year, the supervisory board, chaired by Oleksiy Kucher, has proven itself to be a truly independent body that does not succumb to pressure, and he thanked him for his fruitful cooperation.
The independent members of the supervisory board continue to work, and there is hope for the most expeditious appointment of state representatives to the board, emphasized the CEO of the State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine.”
