The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine has a new head. By a decision of the judges’ assembly on March 25, 2026, Judge Igor Strogoi, who has served at the court since its inception, was elected as its president.

Ihor Strohy has become the new head of the High Anti-Corruption Court. He was elected following the expiration of the term of the court’s previous head, Vira Mykhailenko.

According to the law, the head of the High Anti-Corruption Court is elected for a three-year term.

The previous head of the court was Vira Mykhailenko, who held this position since February 14, 2023. Her term ended on February 14, 2026.

After that, starting February 15, Oleg Pavlyshyn, a judge of the VAKS Appeals Chamber, temporarily served as acting president of the court.

Along with the new head, a deputy chief justice was also elected. Judge Dmytro Mykhailenko was appointed to this position.
