The first season of The Squid Game was released on September 17, 2021, and quickly gained a huge following. In October of the same year, negotiations began on the filming of the second season, and in December, information appeared about the possibility of a third season.
As of today, The Squid Game has become the most watched series on Netflix in the history of the platform.

Speaking about the release of the third season, the creators of the series promised to “stun the world one last time”. A teaser released by Netflix revealed that the main character named Gee Hong, better known to viewers as player number 456, is returning to gaming. In addition, in the third season, Front Man will appear without a mask for the first time, revealing his identity.
The central theme that will be revealed in the final season will be faith in people, the importance of preserving humanity and moral choices. However, the games will become even more deadly, and the consequences of the decisions made will be even more fatal for the players.

Some viewers have already watched the long-awaited finale of this story and shared their opinions on the series’ level of suspense. Most viewers point out excessive cruelty, superficial plot, and a glut of gruesome images that are hard to watch.
In particular, journalists from The Guardian noted an increase in violence, an increase in the number of violent scenes, and the disappearance of satire. They emphasize that most of the players have become ruthless people who kill without remorse.
At the same time, the third season of The Squid Game is highly rated on IMDb and currently has a score of 8 out of 10, noting the “resonant finale”.
