Schedules of power outages on January 1, 2026 will be valid throughout Ukraine

On the first day of the New Year, January 1, 2026, hourly power outage schedules will be introduced throughout Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrenergo on its Telegram page, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Also, on January 1, power limitation schedules for industry will be introduced.
Such restrictions are forced to be imposed because of Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities.
Ukrenergo noted that the situation in the power system may change. The time and extent of the outages can be found on the official websites of the regional power companies and DTEK.
It is not yet known how the power will be cut off in Kyiv on January 1.
As a reminder, on New Year’s Eve, some Kyiv residents celebrated 2026 without electricity. Due to stabilization outages, four groups of consumers in the capital had no electricity until midnight.
