Power outage schedules will be in effect in all regions on January 20
20 January 05:39
On Tuesday, January 20, hourly power outages will be in effect in all regions of Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrenergo on Telegram, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“On January 20, hourly power outages and power restrictions for industrial consumers will be implemented in all regions of Ukraine,” the company said in a statement.
Ukrenergo added that the situation in the power system may change. The time and scope of power cuts at a specific address can be found on the official websites of the regional power companies or DTEK.
Points of invincibility
The State Emergency Service is deploying new Points of Resilience throughout the country. Additional tents are also being deployed in the capital, with more than 1,300 currently operating in Kyiv. Starting today, 50 mobile kitchens with hot food will begin operating in areas where the situation remains difficult.
In areas with an emergency situation in the electricity sector, the curfew may be relaxed. This means that you can be on the streets and in public places near Points of Resilience and heating points, as well as travel to them by private transport. The territory with relaxations is determined by the TEB and NS commission.
How many power outages will there be?
The number of simultaneous power cuts is not officially disclosed. Ukrenergo emphasizes that the situation in the power system remains dynamic and may change throughout the day.
Up-to-date information on:

- the duration of restrictions,
- specific addresses

Situation in Kyiv
We remind you that on January 13, after another attack by the Russian Federation, the situation with electricity supply on the right bank of Kyiv worsened and became similar to the power outages on the left bank of the capital.
Energy companies are continuing emergency repair work and are calling on citizens to use electricity rationally.
What they advise consumers
Energy companies urge citizens to:
- to use powerful electrical appliances at night, if possible;
- avoid turning on energy-intensive appliances at the same time;
