Thunderstorms and heat: what the weather will be like this working week

According to weather forecasters, the working week that has started will be warm to hot. Only on Thursday will it cool down briefly in the north and west of Ukraine, reports [Kommersant] citing information from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre.
Monday, 17 June
In Ukraine, it will be cloudy with clearings throughout the day, with short-term rain. The average night temperature will be 18…16 degrees. During the day, the thermometer will show 23… 25 degrees.
Rains with thunderstorms are expected in Khmelnytsky, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Poltava and Zaporizhzhya regions. Partly cloudy weather will remain in the rest of Ukraine.
Tuesday, 18 June
During the day and at night, forecasters predict partly cloudy weather.
In the western regions, at night the thermometer will show 15… 13 degrees, and during the day it will rise to 27… 30 degrees. The wind will be south-west with gusts of 5-10 m/s.
In the east of the country, at night it is expected to be 19… 15 degrees, during the day the thermometer will show 25… 29 degrees. The wind will be north-west, with gusts of 5-10 m/s. Short-term rains are expected in Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
In the south of Ukraine, forecasters predict 19…16 degrees at night and 28…30 degrees during the day. The wind will be south-west, with gusts of 5-10 m/s.
In the north, at night the temperature will remain at 17…15 degrees, and during the day the thermometer will show 26…29 degrees.
Wednesday, 19 June
Partly cloudy weather will remain throughout Ukraine. Precipitation is expected only in the Lviv and Rivne regions, as well as in Volyn.
At night, the thermometer will show 20…18 degrees, and during the day the temperature will rise to 29…31. The hottest day will be in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions: the temperature will rise to a record 33…34 degrees.
Forecasters also warn that on 19-20 June, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, and Zhytomyr regions will be subject to an extreme level of fire danger, which means that forest fires start and spread instantly when they ignite. Ukrainians are asked to be careful not to start open fires and not to smoke outdoors.
Thursday, 20 June
On this day, there will be no precipitation in the western region of Ukraine. At night the thermometer will show 18… 13 degrees, and during the day the air will warm up to 21… 24 degrees. The wind is expected to be north-west, with gusts of 7-12 m/s.
In the eastern regions, forecasters predict short-term rain. At night the temperature will drop to 20…16 degrees, and during the day it will warm up to 26…31 degrees.
The hottest day will be in the southern regions. Despite the rains, the temperature will rise to 32 degrees.
In the north, on 20 June, it will be cloudy with clearings. At night, forecasters predict 20… 17 degrees. During the day, it is expected to be 22… 25 degrees.
on 20 June, an extreme level of fire danger will prevail in Lviv, Chernivtsi and Vinnytsia regions.
Friday, 21 June
No precipitation on the last day of the working week in Ukraine. At night, the temperature will remain at 15… 13 degrees. During the day, thermometers will show an average of 23… 29 degrees. The wind is expected to be north-west, with gusts of 3-8 m/s.
