9 December 15:30
Imports of used cars to Ukraine in November continued to show active dynamics: 23.5 thousand cars imported from abroad were registered on Ukrainian license plates.
According to Ukravtoprom, this is 60% more than last year, despite a slight decline compared to October, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
This difference indicates a stable demand for used cars against the background of rising prices of new cars and growing interest in economy vehicles.
Shift towards electric cars
Although gasoline-powered cars remain the most common among imported secondhand vehicles (43%), the share of electric cars rose markedly to 32% in November.
This makes them more popular than diesel (17%), hybrids (5%) and HFO cars (3%).
Which cars are bought most often
Despite the general electrification of the market, the most popular model among used cars remains the Volkswagen Golf – 1,035 registrations in November. At the same time, two Tesla models entered the top three at once, which indicates a change in demand and growing confidence in electric transportation.
