In February, Ukrainians purchased nearly 3,000 imported passenger cars less than five years old. This segment accounts for approximately one-fifth of all imported used cars.

This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a statement from “Ukravtoprom.”

Ukrainians are buying imported cars more actively

In total, 14,800 used cars were added to the Ukrainian vehicle fleet over the month. Thus, the share of relatively “new” cars accounted for nearly 20% of all imported used cars.

Gasoline-powered cars are the most popular in this segment, accounting for 55% of the market. At the same time, interest in alternative engine types is growing: hybrids account for 21%, and electric vehicles for 17%. Diesel cars account for 6%, while vehicles with LPG equipment account for just 1%.

Among the most popular models of imported cars up to 5 years old, the Nissan Rogue leads the pack—Ukrainians purchased 168 of these cars in a single month. The top three also includes the Mazda CX-5 (150 units) and the Volkswagen Tiguan (136 units).

The top ten most sought-after models also included the Tesla Model Y (113 units), Audi Q5 (106 units), Ford Escape (89 units), Tesla Model 3 (69 units), Jeep Compass (66 units), Ford Edge (55 units), and BMW X5 (50 units).
