Iran delivers new bombs to Russia

For the first time, Iran has handed over the latest Qaim-5 guided aerial munitions to Russia for use in strikes against Ukraine. This was reported by Bild with reference to "Komersant Ukrainian"
This information is based on a report by open source analyst Julian Repke. He claims that a video from the Kursk region of Russia shows that the crashed Iranian Qods Mohajer-6 drone was carrying such bombs.
The drone probably intended to strike the Sumy region of Ukraine, but for unknown reasons crashed on Russian territory.
Qaim-5 bombs were only adopted in Iran in 2019. Prior to that, Russian troops had not used such precision munitions in Ukraine. Repke believes that Russia’s use of Iranian ammunition indicates a new level of military cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.
