Iran strikes at Israel: 5 killed, 90 wounded

On the night of June 16, Iran attacked Israel with missiles. Five people were killed, more than 90 others were injured, and high-rise buildings, a power plant, and a refinery were damaged. This was reported by The Times of Israel, "Komersant Ukrainian" informs

It is noted that the missiles hit at least two buildings in different parts of Israel. 67 people were taken to hospitals. Among them, a woman in her 30s is in serious condition, six people were moderately injured and 90 people were slightly injured.

According to Israel’s national emergency service, Magen David Adom (MDA), five people were killed in central Israel as a result of Iran’s latest series of missile strikes.

According to the MDA, four people were killed in the town of Petah Tikva and one in the town of Bnei Brak.

Rockets hit several targets in central and coastal Israel, including residential buildings.

Israeli media report that Iran fired nearly 40 rockets. Residential areas and critical infrastructure were damaged.

According to the Israel Electric Corporation, the strikes damaged the local power grid in central Israel. Work is underway to repair the infrastructure and restore power.

CNN reports that video from the site of the strikes shows that the rockets hit the area around the oil refinery in Haifa.
