Italy to host conference on Ukraine’s recovery – Zelensky announces date

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced an international conference on Ukraine’s recovery in Rome. Leaders of partner countries will come together to discuss strategies for rebuilding Ukraine after the war. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Zelensky’s speech during a PACE meeting.
According to him, an international conference on the restoration of Ukraine is scheduled for July 10-11, 2025, in Italy.
“As for the strategic program, I mean that on July 10 and 11, we will have a very good meeting in Italy under the leadership of our good friend of Ukraine, Italian Prime Minister Giorgi Meloni. And we will meet with the leaders there,” Zelenskyy said.
The Head of State also emphasized the importance of the participation of European enterprises and the private sector in the restoration of Ukraine after Russian attacks.
The conference will be a logical continuation of this year’s Ukraine Recovery Conference held in Berlin. This will be the fourth Ukraine Recovery Conference.
The Ukraine Recovery Conference website states that the main topics of the conference in Italy will be
- business – involvement of the private sector in recovery and economic growth;
- human capital for Ukraine;
- regional recovery;
- eU accession and related reforms.
