Israel begins withdrawal from Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces have begun withdrawing troops from Gaza.
This was reported by The Times of Israel, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to the newspaper, the IDF expects to complete the withdrawal of troops to the agreed lines of deployment in Gaza at noon as part of an agreement with Hamas to release all hostages held by the terrorist group in Gaza.

After the process is completed, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will retain control of just over half of the Strip, or 53 percent, most of which is outside urban areas.

Within 72 hours of the completion of the IDF withdrawal, Hamas intends to release 48 hostages it is holding who are believed to be alive. The terrorist group has previously told mediators that it does not know the whereabouts of some of the dead hostages, which could delay their release.
