The Cabinet of Ministers has updated the supervisory board of Naftogaz: who is now on the board

The Cabinet of Ministers has updated the composition of the supervisory board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, one of the key state-owned companies in the energy sector. The decision was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Who joined the supervisory board
The board consists of six members — four independent international experts and two state representatives.
Independent members:
- Robert Slesinski (Poland) — specializes in corporate governance and energy.
- Eric Rasmussen (Denmark) — an expert in energy and infrastructure financing, has worked with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
- Duncan Nightingale (Canada) — specialist in operational management of extraction assets, headed the supervisory board of Ukrnafta.
- Tor Martin Anfinnsen (Norway) — has experience working at Equinor and continues to serve on the board to ensure institutional continuity.
State representatives:
- Anna Artemenko — Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture.
- Kostyantyn Maryevych — State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers (re-elected member of the board).
The government is completing the reboot of supervisory bodies
Naftogaz of Ukraine plays a key role in providing the country with gas, ensuring the financial stability of the energy sector, and cooperating with international partners.
The renewal of the supervisory board is taking place against the backdrop of broader corporate governance reform in state-owned companies. According to the prime minister, the government is completing the reboot of supervisory bodies in such structures as:
- Centrenergo
- Ukrenergo
- Ukrhydroenergo
- Operator of the Gas Transmission System of Ukraine
The day before, the renewed supervisory board of Energoatom also held its first meeting.
