The Cabinet of Ministers approved new rules for Duty Free stores

Duty Free shops can sell goods only to citizens traveling outside Ukraine or passengers of international flights, provided that they present a passport document. This is stated in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 741, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
It is noted that in the sales area of the store in a prominent place should be placed announcements that the sale of goods is carried out only if citizens present a passport.
There should also be announcements prohibiting the sale of beer, alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages, tobacco products, e-cigarettes, etc. to minors.
According to the published rules, workplaces in the cash register areas are equipped with cameras to provide video recording of the process of buying/selling goods.
Goods in such stores must be labeled for customs purposes and must be identifiable. The marking must be carried out no later than three days after the goods are placed in the Duty Free regime.
It is not allowed to sell goods from auxiliary premises and from the warehouse, by samples, pre-order and by installments.
