Personnel changes at Naftogaz: Shurma was fired

The powers of the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine Rostyslav Shurma as a member of the Supervisory Board was terminated ahead of schedule. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Parliament Taras Melnychuk on Telegram.
“The powers of Rostyslav Ihorovych Shurma, a member of the Supervisory Board of the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine, as a representative of the state, have been terminated early, according to the application submitted,” the statement said.
Career of Rostyslav Shurma
Rostyslav Shurma is a Ukrainian statesman and top manager, born on September 17, 1983 in Lviv. He received his higher education at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, where he studied economics and entrepreneurship, as well as at the Kyiv National Economic University, where he graduated with a degree in economic theory.
Before joining the civil service, Shurma worked in the private sector.
In March 2021, Shurma worked as an advisor in the Office of the President of Ukraine, and in May of the same year, by presidential decree, he was appointed a member of the Supervisory Board of the state concern Ukroboronprom.
on November 23, 2021, he took up the position of Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, where he was responsible for the economic direction of the executive branch.
on January 28, 2023, Rostyslav Shurma was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz.
However, on September 3, 2024, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Shurma from the post of Deputy Head of the Presidential Office by decree.
This summer, German media reported that searches were conducted at Rostyslav Shurma’s residence in Germany. Later, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine confirmed this information without disclosing details.
No other personnel decisions regarding the composition of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz have been officially announced.
