Will there be additional days off in March 2026?
Due to the martial law in Ukraine, the provisions of the Labor Code regarding holidays and non-working days and the transfer of days off do not apply, so there are no additional days off for celebrating public holidays. Despite the fact that March 8 is a public holiday, according to the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On the Organization of Labor Relations under Martial Law,” only Saturday and Sunday are days off.
Weekends and working days in March 2026
Given the specifics of labor relations legislation during martial law, in March 2026, Ukrainians will only have standard weekends—Saturday and Sunday:
- Holidays: March 1, 7-8, 14-15, 21-22, 28-29
- Working days: March 2-6, 9-13, 16-20, 23-27, 30-31
Thus, there will be 9 days off and 22 working days in March.
