German Chancellor begins diplomatic tour: Ukraine is a priority

Newly elected German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has announced his intention to visit Ukraine in the near future. He made the announcement on May 7, 2025, during his first foreign visit to Paris, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
