The Khmelnytskyi Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigation reported that the businessman approached the official to arrange a long-term lease of land plots in the National Park. The official told him that he would sign the lease for USD 65,000. For this money, he leased three land plots of 0.48 hectares to the entrepreneur for the construction of a recreation centre.

The entrepreneur decided not to pay the tribute and turned to law enforcement.
