The number of dead in Kharkiv has risen to seven: 5 “Shaheds” flew into the apartment building

The number of deaths from the Russian shahednogo strike on Kharkiv apartment building this morning has increased to seven. This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“A few minutes ago, the body of another victim of this morning’s terrorist shelling of Kharkiv was extracted from under the rubble. The dead are now seven.”
– he wrote in Telegram.
The mayor of the city added that the strike on the apartment building, in which people were sleeping, was purposeful – 5 drones flew into it from different sides.
We will remind, on the night of August 18, the Russians made another attack on Kharkiv, using drones such as “Geran-2”. Among the dead there is a one and a half year old girl.

The enemy drones attacked a residential five-story building in the Industrial district of the city. Four Geran-2 drones hit the apartment building directly, causing widespread destruction and fires on the first, third and fifth floors.
As a result of the explosion there was a fire in two entrances: in the first one the floors from the second to the fourth were burning, in the second one the last floor was burning. Due to the collapse of the floor slabs, there was a threat that people could remain under the rubble.
In addition to the dead, 20 people were injured, including six children. Five people were reported missing – two of them were found dead. Emergency rescue operations are continuing.
