The assassination of the RDC commander, who is fighting against the occupiers as part of the GUR’s “Timur Special Forces,” was ordered by the Russian special services and allocated half a million dollars.
“Welcome back!”, the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov greeted Denys Kapustin and the Special Forces team.
As a result of a special operation lasting more than a month, Kapustin’s life was saved. In addition, the Russian special services and the perpetrators of the crime were identified.
“Our side also received the appropriate amount of funds allocated by the Russian special services for the realization of this crime. As of now, the RDC commander is on the territory of Ukraine and is preparing to continue fulfilling his tasks,” the commander of the “Timur Special Forces” reported to Budanov.
The DIU Chief welcomed the RDC commander Denys Kapustin, who joined the report via video link.
“First of all, Mr. Kapustin, I congratulate you on your return to life. It is always a pleasure. I am glad that the funds received for the order of your liquidation went to help our struggle. I wish us all and you personally every success,” Budanov said.
Kapustin, who goes by the call sign White Rex, emphasized his readiness to continue commanding the unit and performing combat and special missions.
“My temporary absence did not affect the quality and success of combat missions. I am ready to move to the area of operations and continue to command the RDC unit,” he said.
As a reminder, information about the death of RBK commander Denis Kapustin appeared on December 27. It was reported that it happened in the Zaporizhzhia sector as a result of an FPV drone.
