Naftogaz Group companies launch new wells and increase production

“Ukrgasvydobuvannya and Ukrnafta, both part of Naftogaz Group, have drilled new wells. This is reported by the specialized publication ExPro Consulting, "Komersant Ukrainian" informs.
“Ukrgasvydobuvannya has put into operation a new exploration well with a daily flow rate of 150 thousand cubic meters of natural gas. The depth of the well is 5,400 meters.
“Ukrnafta drilled a new exploration well in the East of Ukraine.
“The new well is currently producing 68 thousand cubic meters of gas and 8 tons of condensate per day. This is 66 tons per day in oil equivalent,” said Sergiy Koretsky, Director of Ukrnafta.
The depth of the facility is 3,017 meters. The recoverable gas reserves amount to 244 million cubic meters and condensate – 35 thousand tons.
What about this year’s production figures
Naftogaz Group companies – JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya and PJSC Ukrnafta – produced 13.5 billion cubic meters of commercial natural gas in 11 months of 2024. This was reported by the press service of Naftogaz two weeks ago.
Over 10 months of this year, Naftogaz Group companies increased gas production by 6%.
In addition, in January-November, Naftogaz Group paid more than UAH 80 billion in taxes based on the results of its operations. In particular, the Group’s companies paid over UAH 74 billion to the state budget and UAH 6 billion to local budgets.
