US companies sign $36 million worth of military contracts with Ukraine

The United States has signed two military contracts with Ukraine totaling $36 million. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to a statement by the Pentagon.
The agency said that Kyiv signed the first contract, worth almost $15 million, with the American company Sierra Nevada Corp. The agreement provides for assistance to the Ukrainian Navy in implementing a program to combat drones: the company will provide experts who will provide technical support for systems, some of which are deployed in Eastern Europe.
Another contract was signed with Knight’s Armament Co. According to it, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive M110 sniper rifles worth $21.3 million by 2027.
on September 25, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that US weapons would be supplied to Ukraine continuously, with the costs covered by Washington’s allies.
