The Kremlin’s bloody provocation: Moscow is preparing a special operation with casualties to disrupt peace talks

The Kremlin is preparing a large-scale provocation with human casualties as part of a continuing special operation to disrupt the US-mediated peace talks.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the press service of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.

“This operation is complex in nature. After the so-called “attack on the residence of (Russian dictator Vladimir – ed.) Putin,” we have recorded the Kremlin’s spread of new falsified information pretexts to prepare the Russian and foreign audience for further escalation,” the SZR said.

Intelligence is highly likely to predict a transition from manipulative influence to an armed provocation by the Russian special services with significant human casualties. The expected time is on the eve of or during the celebration of Christmas according to the Julian calendar – January 7.

The place of provocation may be a religious building or other object with a high symbolic value both in Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

To falsify the evidence of Ukraine’s involvement, it is planned to use the wreckage of Western-made attack drones that will be delivered to the site of the provocation from the front line.

“The exploitation of fear and the commission of terrorist acts with human casualties under a “false flag” fully corresponds to the style of work of Russian special services,” the SZR noted.

According to intelligence, the Putin regime has repeatedly used this tactic inside Russia, and now the same model is being exported abroad, which is indirectly confirmed by public statements by senior Russian officials.

“We appeal to the media to question and carefully check the materials published by the Kremlin and not to spread Russian fakes,” the SZR emphasized.

As a reminder, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recently said that Ukraine allegedly carried out a drone attack on Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s state residence in the Novgorod region on the night of December 29, referring to the residence in Valdai.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denied Russia’s accusations of an “attack” on Putin’s residence and warned that such statements could be preparations for new strikes on Ukraine.
