“Blood Moon: when and where to see a total eclipse

7 September 00:21

Get ready for an unforgettable spectacle: on September 7 and the night of September 8, a “blood moon” will appear in the sky. During a total lunar eclipse, the Earth’s satellite will turn a unique dark red hue, turning an ordinary night into a special one.

Billions of people around the world will be able to see this long-lasting phenomenon in the sky, but not everyone will be able to follow the phenomenon from start to finish, the Washington Post and Space reported, "Komersant Ukrainian".

When and where the eclipse will take place

Residents of Asia and Western Australia will have the best conditions to observe the full “blood moon”. People in eastern Australia, New Zealand, Africa, and some parts of the Middle East will also see most phases of the eclipse.

America is the only major region that will completely miss the second total eclipse of the year.
