Euro exchange rate without sharp movements: what to expect in the near future

It is currently difficult to predict the exchange rate, as it largely depends on external factors, in particular the dynamics of the euro-dollar pair. This was stated by economist Oleg Hetman in a commentary to "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to him, the situation on the Ukrainian currency market has almost no impact on the euro against the dollar, as it is formed under the influence of economic processes in Europe and the United States.
At the same time, Mr. Hetman believes that the dollar will remain relatively stable in Ukraine. According to his forecast, even next year, the dollar is unlikely to exceed 43 hryvnia.
As for the euro, the economist expects slight fluctuations. In the near future, the exchange rate may change within 20-30 kopecks in one direction or another.
“And in principle, if the dollar is stable, what difference does it make what the euro will be? It is important for those who travel to Europe, but for us, we keep our money either in dollars, hryvnias or currency certificates,” Hetman said.
As of December 26, the official dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia decreased by 22 kopecks and the euro by 26 kopecks.
