This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

In September 2025, a private company transferred UAH 70 million to the company as partial compensation for losses incurred during the procurement of cable and wire products in 2022-2023.

In total, over UAH 185 million was compensated

Since 2023, Ukrzaliznytsia, together with NABU and SAPO, has managed to recover more than UAH 185.6 million that was lost due to corruption.

In particular:

  • uAH 70 million – based on the results of an investigation into fraud in the procurement of cable and wire products;
  • uAH 70 million – in the case of natural gas procurement;
  • uAH 41 million – in the case of abuse in the procurement of rail fasteners;
  • uAH 3 million – as a result of investigation of violations in the procurement of fuel.
