Musk has filed documents for registration of his America Party

The American billionaire Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and one of the founders of Tesla, has filed documents for the registration of his America Party. On Sunday, July 6, an application for the creation of the America Party appeared in the database of the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to DW.
In addition, the database contains applications for the establishment of the National Committee of the Party of America, as well as the X and DOGE parties (the same name for the Department of Government Efficiency, which Musk oversaw).
At the end of June, Musk, amid disagreement with US President Donald Trump’s bill that cuts federal spending but also provides significant tax breaks, proposed to create a new political party in the US, saying that the country is now “one-party.”
The conflict between Trump and Musk escalated on July 1, when the US president threatened to inspect government subsidies allocated to Tesla and other Musk companies. “Perhaps the DOGE Efficiency Department should take a closer look at government support for Musk’s companies. Elon probably receives more subsidies than any other person in history, by a wide margin. Without this support, he would probably have to close his shop and return to South Africa. No more rocket launches, no more satellites, no more satellites.” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
on July 4, the US Independence Day, Musk launched a poll “Should we create a Party of America?”, in which about 1.3 million people voted in a day. “When it comes to the bankruptcy of our country through waste and corruption, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy.”
