Massive attack on Kyiv: Russians use missiles and drones simultaneously

On the night of November 14, Russian troops launched one of the most powerful attacks on the Ukrainian capital in recent months. Kyiv was hit simultaneously with Daggers, Kalibr, ballistic missiles, and attack drones. Numerous explosions have been heard in the city, and fires have broken out in several neighborhoods, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Thus, before 1 a.m., monitoring channels reported several waves of Daggers and Kalibr flying at Kyiv and the agglomeration. Later, five ballistic missiles were reported to have been launched. Explosions are heard in the capital.
“Air defense forces are working in Kyiv. A massive enemy attack on the capital. Stay in shelters!” Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote.
Earlier, Russians attacked Kyiv with drones.
“The enemy is attacking the capital with attack drones and missiles. Please, stay in shelters and do not film the work of air defense!” said the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko.
He noted that according to preliminary data, a UAV hit a residential building in Dniprovskyi district. In Podilskyi district, a fire broke out in a residential building near the 10th floor. In addition, a car is on fire in Darnytskyi district.
There were also calls to Shevchenkivskyi, Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts of the capital.
In the Dniprovskyi district, where the debris hit a five-story residential building, one of the lower floors was destroyed, and two apartments are also on fire. Nine people were evacuated from the building.
Information about possible victims and the extent of the damage is being clarified. Services are working at the site of the hits and eliminating the consequences of the night strikes.
Kyiv continues to hold the line during another powerful Russian missile and drone attack.
