Massive train delays: Ukrzaliznytsia publishes list of affected routes

Due to the security situation and problems with electricity supply, a number of suburban trains are running with delays in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Ukrzaliznytsia.
Delays in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions
In particular, train No. 6606 Malyn-Kyiv is running with an estimated delay of about 2.5 hours .
In Chernihiv region, due to a power outage, train No. 6907 Nizhyn-Kyiv departed from Zavorychi station with a delay of 41 minutes.
In the Kyiv region, due to the passage of priority trains, train No. 6540 Fastiv-1 – Sviatoshyn departed with a delay of 38 minutes.
Delays in the direction of Kharkiv
Due to a power outage in the contact network, trains to Kharkiv are running with delays from Merefa station:
- No. 6506 Zlatopil-Kharkiv – 1 hour delay
- No. 6682 Vlasivka Kharkiv – 47-minute delay
Later, Ukrzaliznytsia reported on updates in the Kharkiv region: due to voltage fluctuations, delays are being recorded on the Merefa – Kharkiv section in the direction of Kharkiv.
This concerns the following trains:
- No. 6506 Zlatopil – Kharkiv
- No. 6508 Bilyayivka – Kharkiv
- No. 6684 Berestyn – Kharkiv
- No. 6702 Zmiiv – Kharkiv
Korosten direction
For safety reasons, a number of suburban trains on the Korosten direction are also delayed. The following trains are delayed for an indefinite period:
- No. 6610 Korosten – Borshchahivka
- No. 6606 Malyn – Kyiv
Ukrzaliznytsia notes that train traffic is being adjusted depending on the security situation and the state of the power grid, and passengers will be informed of any changes.
Shelling of Kyiv on January 13
Last night, Russian troops carried out another large-scale attack on Kyiv and a number of other regions of Ukraine, using various types of missiles and strike drones.
At around 2 a.m., the capital was hit by ballistic missiles, and explosions were heard in the city. In the early morning, Kyiv was again under rocket attack.
Kharkiv, Odesa, and Kryvyi Rih were also shelled last night. There are already reports of casualties, injuries, and significant damage.
